Training

Safety is a survival issue at K2 Industrial Services. We are committed to providing a safe work environment for our employees and our clients.

Training and reinforcement of our strong Environmental Safety And Health (ESH) culture are provided to hundreds of managers and supervisors each year through numerous ESH conferences held across the country.

These conferences address:

  • ESH Performance Measurements and Targets.
  • ESH & Risk Management Initiatives.
  • New or Modified Policies and Procedures.
  • Applicable Laws, Rules or Regulations.
  • Behavioral Safety Workshops.
  • Evolving ESH Practices and Client Initiatives.

Employee Field Training encompasses the requisite components for operational and ESH skills needed to meet client and regulatory expectations, such as:

  • New Employee Orientation
  • 10 Hour OSHA
  • 30 Hour OSHA
  • Confined Space
  • Fall Protection
  • Lock-Out / Tag-Out
  • Lead Abatement
  • +8 Hour Refresher
  • +8 Hour Supervisor
  • Vacuum Operations
  • Hydroblasting
  • Respiratory Protection
  • Apprenticeship Programs

Safe and environmentally sound operating services must begin with a proactive approach that identifies safety or environmental risks.

K2 Industrial Services routinely incorporates two levels of Job Safety Analysis for all jobs (1) Pre-JSA during the job walk, (2) complete JSA prior to the start of work. This process is complemented by follow-up job site auditing after work begins.

To complete our evaluation, we correlate these audit findings into our proprietary Audit Risk Rating model to provide performance measurements. This data is used to proactively manage job-site safety behaviors before they result in accidents or injuries. This Audit Risk Rating is a key driver in meeting our ESH performance targets.
